I recently purchased a 1965 Series IV Alpine. The car is almost complete
except for the engine, transmission, and driveline. The car does need a
ground up restoration although it is not in that bad of shape. Not much
rust, etc.
The questions I have are:
1) Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain the missing parts?
2) The person that I purchased this from has heard of someone putting an
older Toyota T2 engine and transmission in these cars.
Has anyone heard of this? Or any other type of engine? Besides of course the
Ford V8. I am particularly interested in knowing about the Toyota engine or
some type of V6.
