A grievous wrong!

Took the cut off disk to the floor of my series I pine this weekend. It was
amazing how pristine the floor pan WAS. No rust, still had all the original
paint and undercoating, just perfect. Buzz, buzz, saw, saw, Gary would be
proud! I think I got it ready for the next step, what a sin I have commited!!

The motor came out this weekend as well and went off in a truck to my friend
Howards house (except for Tonys carbs and Kevins balancer). The mock up is
almost done and it is time for the real thing. It looks like maybe the front
mounts can be made to bolt up to the stock Alpine flanges with an adaptor. The
tranny tunnel mods are pretty cool, it will look pretty normal except for that
shifter location.

Well, I'm not supposed to be talking such blasphemy amongst all you purists
but cutting that floor up was just too good to keep to myself!
