Bill, I had the same problem as you - I don't think anybody
manufactures them. I ended up piecing mine together with glue and filler
then spraying them. The problem is that the clips that hold them in are not
reliable and I suspect most fell off as soon as the car left the showroom!!
I use heavy duty double sided tape to hold them in place as well as the
clips. As for a making your own, I think I would use 1/2 round wooden trim
with a matt black finish - Good Luck

***** NOTES from JLAIFMAN (JLAIFMAN (at) PNM) at 8/11/95 10:23a
In reading Tony's message, I now think that I must have misunderstood what
part Bill was asking about. Nonetheless, I still am interested if anyone
knows about the original part I was talking about. Also, at the top of
the windshield frame on each side where the rubber moulding ends, I have
little clips which sort of end in a "T". But, I never had any rubber or
other piece that fit over the "T". Does anyone, first, have any ideal
what I'm talking about, and, second, know what belongs?
