The early cars have a glass bowl type pump with a primer button (at least bo
th
of mine did). I'm not sure if the later cars have these "features" or not b
ut
a "replacement pump" I bought from one of the usual suppliers does not have
the glass bowl or the primer button.

I got a replacement which did not have the primer lever on it, but it did not rest on the cam properly and would not work. I ended up going to a solid state pump that I mounted in the rear of the car and making a block off for the hole.
