Thanks for all the great responses to my question re: swapping fuel
pumps. I searched in my parts pile and came up with 4 fuel pumps ! In
checking out the Series V pump, the outlet pipe is a push on type rather
than threaded, as noted by Dick and Tom. I just removed the top half of
the pump and left the bottom still mounted on the car and sure enough, there
was a pin hole in the diaphragm. I salvaged the diaphragm from the Series V
- they are identical. Problem solved - no more leak!!
