Ian chose a Rootes car TWICE for the book "Dr. No." At the end of the book,
Bond drives across the island for one last rendevous in, (are you ready for
this?)
a HILLMAN MINX.

My apologies to the many Minx owners out there, but I just can't picture a
suave Sean Connery behind the wheel of a Minx, wrestling with the column
shifter, with the James Bond music playing in the background.

Inspector Clouseau. Now that I could picture. "Kato, you fool!!! Do not
attack me while I am shifting the gears!!!"
