I,m having trouble with my series five alpine. On the rear brakes, the
brake shoes don,t seem to fit completely into the drums there's about 3/8
of and inch that doesn't contact the drum. Do i have the wrong drums or
what. Has anyone else had this problem. Any reply would be appreciated.
PS also i just noticed that there are no brake adjusters did they make some
with out them or are they just missing.

Your P.S. answers your question. Series V to B395017552 and from
B39501553 had the non-automatically adjusting brakes and the ones
inbetween had the automatically adjusting brakes (info provided by Sunbeam
Specialties catalog). The shoes are different.
