Right now I only have access to the Internet, and this group, through the
e-mail system at my office, which uses Compuserve. Often times, I seem to
get my message to the group at the same time that I get some of your
responses. So I tried sending various e-mails to myself to time the
delays. It usually takes over an hour to get confirmation back that the
e-mail message was sent, and another 1 to 3 hours to get the actual
message! I do believe that our computer is set to receive once an hour
and send whenever messages are sent. Are these delays common? Anyone
have suggestions on other ways to gain access to the Internet?
