I checked out the pictures in question. That style radio MUST have been an
option in the States since the cars shown were LHD, but I've yet to see one
in a Series V. The only style of radio I've come across in Series V's has
a narrower facia and speaker, both a flat black color. My old Mk II Tiger
had this radio, too.
The radio and speaker pictured in the Gold Portfolio is probably much rarer
than one I had in mind. At SUNI II, a couple from England's Sunbeam Alpine
Owners Club (Martin & Tina Kingshot) brought an excellent example with them
to sell - for $400. $150 is more typical for the other style.
