Jay,I picked up one of these valve covers and was told at a Sunbeam
Northwest meet that it was to do with the Le Mans racing - maybe they made a
batch to commemorate the Thermal Efficiency Award - anyway I had mine
polished at a shop and I clean it with metal polish - either a cream or a
soft cotton pad.
Also Jay, there is snow on them there hills !! Ski you - Tony
