Hello- An ballast resister is also required for most elctronic ignition
coils. Standard coils with internal voltage resisters are available at
any aout parts store. As for your wire--Doess it have power running
through it? Just a note for caution if you don't use it to be careful.
Burnt wiring is very horrific--(a little terrible , but a litttle
wonderful ie I'm a mechanic who feeds my family from these sort of
