Bill Cartus gave a nice report on S.O.S. based on feed back I heard. There is
one Post Script which he is probably not aware of. Based on a comment from Ed
Esslinger (spark plug for this event) a Tiger broke down on the way home and
was pulled the last 50 miles to home port with a rope by an Alpine. Ahhh,
sweet revenge! Ed promises to capture the moment in an upcoming newsletter
article.
Regarding Bills comments about reginal activities. There are plenty of
opportnunities. He mentioned one, Chateau Elan. There is also another in ROME
GA called British at Berry, held at Berry College. This event was started by
a Beamer, Russ Wheeler, as a "British Affair" it has grown so much that its
attendance is close to the Cheatu's. Sunbeam owners need to check this one
out.
