At least, the Germans take auto inspection seriously. In this part of the
country, if you own any car in any condition, you can license it and
drive it anywhere. No emmisions check, no kind of inspection, and insurance
regulations are so laxly enforced, almost half the drivers don't have any.
No wonder we lead the country in speeding and drunk driving.

But we don't have to worry yet, the New Mexico legislature doesn't meet
until January.
