Alignment

I am finally getting around to taking my car in for alignment. I have a
few books with the specs, and they do not have the same Ackerman angle.
So, I thought I would see if there is any current opinion on what is the
right set up for an Alpine. This is what my books say:

Autobook (Hillman Minx 1965-67, includes Alpine V - great book)
Ackerman angle
   Inner wheel 22 deg 15' to 23 deg 15'
   Outer wheel 20 deg

Clymer Sunbeam Owner's Handbook
   Inner 26 deg. 5'
   Outer 30 deg. 15'

My original Owner's Handbook from Sunbeam does not give an Ackerman
angle. I do not even know what one is. Does anyone have the Factory
Manual? Does it show something else?
