On the subject of Alpine Jacks,
I bought my Series V Alpine from the original owner who had drove it
only three years before garaging it... and I found it 12 years
later. It had the original jack which is a curious beast indeed.

My jack is painted gray but the lug nut wrench (short to activate the
jack) is black.

MIne too. It worries me but it seems to me that the angle is
designed to give the jack some stability.
