Tom,

with all this talk about fuel injection and stuff why don't you go down that
path. The net power figure for the Tiger engine is pretty low and you would
be able to get pretty close to it with the Series II engine. We have a
bloke in our club who had his 1600 engine blue printed and etc and now
boasts 120+ net horse power and pulls over 6500 revs in top gear.

On another note I think I heard that the Cortina (english ford car) 2 litre
engine goes straight in.

Any of these things would save you major hassles with sheet metal work and
remember that you will have to put holes in the cross bracing for the other
exhaust. Also there is not much place for fitting telescopic shocks at the
back and I would love to see the lever arm shocks trying to cope.

I reckon you should just put skinny tyres on and get yuor wheel spinning
action that way.

(I BELIEVE A BLOKE BY THE NAME OF SHELBY TRIED THIS IN THE EARLY SIXTIES
WITH RATHER SUCCESSFUL RESULTS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO HIM !)
