was different than that of the manual transmission model. I don't know wher

I got such an idea or how I can verify it (I don't know of any automatics I
can check). Can anybody confim or deny this difference. Also, if there is
such a difference, what is it?

I have the same belief. Seem to remember reading it somewhere. Also, in
looking at supplier's catalogs, I notice that Victoria British sells
different carpet kits for the automatic transmission, but Sunbeam
Specialties does not.
