One "interesting" way to do it: in the April 1995 Practical and Classics,
there is an article about a guy who restored a Series V GT. He apparently
tipped the car on its side by lifting the empty body shell on to its side
with an engine hoist, and then rested it on carpet. There are even
pictures.

I am looking to turn my car over for some major reconstruction of the
underbody and chassis. Does anyone have plans for the construction of a
stand or frame support which will allow me to do this with some relative
ease. The main concern that I have is the flexing of the body which will
cause some distortion of the lines when welding is finished and the car is
again upright.
I am also looking for a drivers window for my Series III.
This is a major reconstruction and any tips beside "DON'T" would be apprecia
ted.
