I think I'm pretty close to the top of the list here. My car is serial number B9000839LRX. The tag for the body number is 822. I purchased this car in Seattle, but I now live in northern New Jersey. Sorry to make all the purists cringe, but I have installed a rotary engine from a 1979 RX-7 in the car. This is a daily driver for me and I am in the process of restoring it. I even drive the car in Manhattan on a regular basis. It takes a lot to get the attention of New Yorkers, but the Alpine gets comments and thumbs up on just about every street corner. Granted, I'm not working very fast on the restoration, but someday.....
I'm glad you asked this question. I have always wondered if I had the oldest Alpine still running.
