slop in it, and was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of problem
and what a good remedy is for it. It appears to be the pivot pin that is at
fault. The second thing is, when I push the clutch in while the car is
stationary (specialy in the morning) the engine idle goes down quite alot,
more so than I have yet to see in any manual shift car.

I have read somewhere that the drop in revs can be due to worn thrust
bearings in the engine(they reckon that these engines are a bit susceptible
to this). Mine drops about 100rpm when I depress the clutch and I worry
about it but not too much.
