I have wondered about this myself, my Series V has the X also, and I
can only guess that the non-standard item refered to is the brake
servo, although I also have a hardtop.

Hello all,
I was curious, the letters following the serial number on my car are
LRX, I know what the L and the R stand for and that the X means not standard
What I don't know is what is not standard? Anyone have a clue?
Thanks

Series I Alpine B9003995 LRX
