According to the July 1996 Classic and Sportscar, Alpines are valued as
follows (numbers are in English pounds converted to US dollars in "()"
using $1.55:L1 from todays WSJ):
Series Show Excellent Good
I - IV 6000 ($9300) 4700 ($7285) 3400 ($5270)
V 6800 ($10,540) 5000 ($7750) 3800 ($5890)
They show 500 ($775) less for the GT version.
My dad has a book like the "Blue Book" for classic and special interest
cars. I forget the title right now. But, he did say that it listed the
Series V Alpine at $12,000.
