The suffix on British market Alpines was HRO meaning Home market (right hand
drive), Roadster, Ordinary specifications. The British cars had removable
bulb headlamps and yellow rear turn signal lenses - which were not legal in
North America at that time. I also think that the laminated "safety glass"
windscreen was a non-standard item as well for the same reason.
