I am new subscriber. I don't personally own an Alpine, but a friend has
had one since he was 7. Its a 63? Series III. We played with it in high
school. His father put a hot little Isuzu emgine in it. (Sacrilege?) It
ran very well till the fuel lines clogged with years of gunk. It sits in
his garage now after 12 years of not working. I plan to get him inspired
to get it running. It needs alot of work. Thankfully all the rust was
taken care of long ago and no new siginificant rust has developed.

Some questions:
        1. Do any of you autox with the original engine?
        2. How about an Isuzu or other Jap engine?
        3. Know any good wire wheel tuners in TX,USA?
        4. How about new or refurbished fuel tanks?

Any and all comments/suggestions welcome. All half-breed jokes and
heretical japes taken in good humor.

Ta

KPC
