Good working original Lucas headlamps currently go for around $50 the pair in
the Mid-Atlantic states and are not too hard to find. I'm talking about the
ones used from 1963 on with the word "LUCAS" in a squashed oval in the middle of
the lamp; not the PL versions with the triangle used prior to 1963; I buy them
up when I see them and currently have four pairs; you see plenty of them at
Import Carlisle in Pennsylvania and the big show in Bowie Maryland
as for concours judges, they should look for things like this, but most don't
