Having just recently looked into this, there are several companies
listed in the Hemmings Motor News. You'll find that it seems to run
about $1,100 for an open trailer (exposed to the elements), and anywhere
from $1,500, $2,400 for an enclosed trailer. These were the prices for
moving an Alpine from Maryland to Seattle. N.J. to L.A. may be a bit
cheaper.
