tacho:
Get the tacho off the car and open it up by twisting the housing.
Then have a look at the capacitors, remove the big black one if it is
cracked for a new one of the same value.
Then remove the PTC resistor and the parrallel resistor for a slightly
bigger one.
(The PTC is a little disk shaped one, standing uprighton the printed circuit board)
Then drill a hole in the back of the housing where the adjustment is
(potmeter)
Then built it into the dash again, connect a timing light with rev counter
or separate rev counter to your ignition.
Start the Alp and if you put the dial of the revcounter in front of the screen
you can with a small scewdriver adjust the potmeter while revving the engine at
100 rpm and 2000 rpm and voila ready !
Can you supply me with the exact tacho chassis number it's on the dial at the bottom
for the precise values of the resistors and capacitors ?
FM radio:
get a anti theft cassette made from plastic built the radio in that
and change the antenna connection remove the mass connection and connect it
with a separate lead to the chassis (of the car not the radio).
(make sure to remove the connection from the mass of the antenna lead to the radio
housing)
Plug in a normal areal and the radio should should be receiving properly !
Good Luck
