Got motivated on the weekend and pulled the soft top out of the Series V
also decided to take the privot brackets out to service them as one
about to fall to bits. They're the big brass things behind B post. They
are held in by 4 (each side) No 10 UNF x3/8 screws. Guess what-one
screw completely destroyed by previous owner and needed an impact driver
to get it out others obviously showing signs of head burring. Now fixed
the privot bracket but minus 1 x screw. No one can sell me this screw
and I've tried every where Before I retap the hole and change to
something metric does any one have a source for these screws or an
acceptable alternative.
