O.K., So it's not going to be as simple as replacing a fuse, but where do I
start?

I don't have the shop manual in front of me, but the circut comes from the
flasher hot, and the turn-signal switch sends it to the respective turn signal,
where it makes ground through the light housing screws. Is this right? That
would explain why my turn signals were flashing without turning the lever when
my problem first occured. The current was grounding out before the switch.

I guess the place to start would be see if there is current at the flasher,
which is located on the left inner fender?
