Slick 50 Oil

        Will the adding of "Slick 50 oil" provide the engine any form of
long term protection? Recently Doerrer(at)aol.com also posed this question
somewhat but so far no response from anyone.

2. I am experiencing diffulties for cold startups all the time even
though I have changed the battery and serviced my starter recently. I need
to do at least three attempts. However, after this the engine startup at the
first click. I have also done the usual checks like distributor, plugs &
wires, and the Strombergs are filled with oil. What could possibly be wrong
and how can I rectify the problem?
