I would also like to throw in my two cents worth about Sunbeam
Speacialties and Victoria British. Over the years I've spent about
$4000 on my restoration and all of it has gone to Rick and Sunbeam
Specialties. Rick is a very nice guy and will bend over backwards to
help out a 'Beamer in need. He offers excellent customer service and
has even sent me parts at no cost when I didn't even ask him! He also
repaired carpeting damaged by mice while in storage in my garage at no
charge. As a result I buy all of my parts from Rick when I can.
In stark contrast to Rick's customer oriented business is Victoria
British. The first, and only, time I bought from them the parts I
received were unbelievably inferior (door & window rubber, etc.). I
returned every last thing and demanded a refund. Surprisingly, along
with my refund they sent a $20 credit. I guess they didn't want to
lose my business. I never used the credit.
