Dear Scott,
Thanks for the info, and I wouldn't have known this without your input
even though I have been reading the list and archives for a few months
This gives me new motivation to get working on my "big fin"!
"Running", however, is a bit of a euphemism for what I am beginning to
work on, since I have been intermittently starting the engine for the
past 10 years, (waiting for retirement) and need some parts before I can
get back on the road.I also have an engine I need to identify -
Ser.# 35000155 LHX -5 main-bearing- coupled with an all-synchro trans.
so I hope you can help me out here. (current needs are a right
tail-light lens, left Armstrong shcck link, and 2 rebound straps) Also,
a clutch problem took me off-road 10 years ago, and I'm going to start
on that as soon as I can find a place to work.
I also have a nearly complete parted-out Series V( including body parts
in good condition) for sale at reasonable prices or trade for
Series I parts. However, I am located in Canada (Calgary, Alberta), so
shipping may be a problem.
Thanks again, and I hope you or others can help me out with engine I.D.

PS:( my original engine also had one of those valve covers that were
being discussed on the list as somehow "special")
