I bought the threshold plates from SS for my Series V and they *look*
great. I should make the following caveat, they dent easily. My original
dull and faded ones may have had some scratches, but no dents. Just
hitting them with the heal of your foot might cause a dent. I, of course,
immediately threw my original ones out after I saw how nice these new ones
looked. Now I regret not having them to try to polish them up. So, does
anyone know how to polish them? Probably just use some Simichrome and
elbow grease is my guess.
It is not really as bad as I think I made it seem. They still look great
and I'd buy them again. It's just that they are a little more fragile it
seems.
