Along the lines of the other intros,
My name is Jarrid Gross, I am a 28 year old design engineer, and live
in Buena Park California. My wife Leticia and I have been married for 5
years, and we have a two year old son and another on the way.
I have owned my 1961 Alpine for 7 years and enjoy working on it, and
abusing it till it needs to be worked on again. I am interrested in high
performance cars, and this shows in my own workings with my own Alpine.
My alpine has been stripped down to metal, then brought back up. Take
this as a recommendation: "there are certain things in life that you should
not know"
one of them is what is underneath 35 years of paint.
My Alpine has undergone extensive "factory like" modifications, and
like Bill Lewis's "Frankenstein" Alpine, is also made of what I consider to
be the best aspects of all the Alpine assets.
The car now is approaching race worthiness, and this year, I hope to
take it out to as many speed events as I can afford (dont tell my wife).
