**If this is a duplicate, please forgive me. I did not get
conformation that the first draft made it through the wires.**

I know this isn't Alpine related, but I just purchased a '67 Jaguar
and was wandering if anyone knows of a site similar to this one. I
tried to "subscribe jaguar" through the majordomo site, but received
     the following message:

      Subscribe Jaguar
     **** subscribe: unknown list 'Jaguar'.

     Any help will be appreciated.

On an alpine note - I wanted to relate another horror story.
About three weeks ago, Atlanta received it's annual dusting of snow
and in typical fashion, everyone freaked out. I left my office at
around 5:30 PM. Normally, my commute is 36 miles and takes abound 45
     minutes.

So there I was, going about 3 MPH in the fast lane, wiping the fog off
my window with anything I can find and the windshield is getting caked
with snow. This went on for about an hour. I had gone about 10 miles
and kept thinking to myself - this is miserable and can't get any
worse. Then it happened. My clutch gave way!

I pulled off the road - on the left hand side and couldn't get out due
to the dividing wall. So, I turned off the ignition, put the car in
first and started it back up. No one would let me in! Finally I
bullied my way over to the right shoulder (after many horn honks and
cuss words) where there was more room. I sat there for a while to
     assess the situation.

I had two options. Call a tow truck (Sunbeams with car phones, just
doesn't seem right) and wait for 5 to 6 hours for him to reach me. Or,
try to get a far as possible by starting the car in first everytime I
had to stop. To make a long story short, I tried to go as for as
possible. It took me another 2 hours to get home. I can't tell you how
many times I stopped and started that car! But, the mighty Sunbeam got
my home. I gave it a much needed rest in a comfortable garage.

     Sunbeams rule!
