Have you tried the underside of the heater core access panel (probably not the
proper name)? It's the one that the hood latch is mounted on. It was a good
source for a color match on both a Series II (3 different color coats) and a
Series V (4 coats) I've checked; so Rootes likely painted these before
installation through all the Series.
