Bert,
Thanks for reply,
I mail to the SAOC to become member as you advise me, and I did
correction of
my adress, in fact there was an error ((at)inforoute.gs insted of .cgs).
Where did you buy your 'workshop manual' and how much, this is the kind
of book
that I am looking for.
What about the 'partsmanual', is it a parts list of the car..., is it
realy
helpfull for restoration ?
About your car, did you restore it (engine, body) or did you get in
state ?
For me, I get it in critical state,
Engine was unmounted on a cariage with a lot of parts in boxes in a
place,
and the rusted boddy in an other.
I am now reconditioning the 1725 engine (but with 1300 workshop manual).
Cylinder head had been soldered (on water passages) and planed.
Bloc and crankshaft had been refected too.
Actualy I am trying to assemble connecting rods on crankshaft with new
bearings,
and I have too important play, on my mind, it is the reason for what I
am
looking for the manual.
If you or anybody else have any quotes and play informations of
conecting_rod/bearings/crankshaft for the 1725 engine, I am interested !
An other question, you describe your Alpine as ' S IV GT OD', I supose
OD
mean OverDrive but what about 'GT' and 'S', what are criterias defining
those categories ?
Amicales salutations, à bientot.
Fred Saury from Lyon (Alpine V de 1966).
