Hi Fred,

I bought it in Britain at a carshow where they had some bookstalls
and sold car manuals.
Another one was bought in a bookshop also in the UK.
I also bought one at one of the part suppliers I gave you.
and I also copied a german version from a friend of mine.
>What about the 'partsmanual', is it a parts list of the car..., is it

Yes it's really helpfull as they have exploded views of how all the
parts fit together and what their parts numbers are, very easy
when you want to order parts from one of the suppliers.
They all work with the old Rootes numbers.
>About your car, did you restore it (engine, body) or did you get in

Yes my dad and me restored it together it was a huge job as it was a
first class rustbucket.
Our car was complete though, but we have replaced many parts I should
say most of it !

I can fax you some engine data if you have a fax number or send you
the data by post if you send me your address.

It means it's a series IV and it's a GT (grand turismo) which means it
has a hardtop only, wood dashboard and no softtop (but that we have put
on later on).
Yes the OD stands for overdrive unit.
Salut !
