BTW, My GLI died on the way to work two weeks ago. It needs a heart
transplant (got one sitting in the garage and will put it in when the temp gets
above 40!). That means the Alpine has been pressed into daily service. You
can't believe how fast the wisecracks about my LBC have diminished from friends
and wife now that I drive it everyday!
