It will build up oil pressure on my Sprite, Kermit the Frogeye. It is
easy because it has a separate starter and ignition. After it has been
sitting more than a day or two, I usually turn over the engine with the
starter, leaving the ignition off. I can see as high as 50 psi just from
the starter cranking the engine. Then I shout "contact" and turn on the
ignition. OK, just kidding, I don't shout anything.
