Hello all,
I would like to add my two bob's worth to this colour discussion. I love
wire wheels with white walls. Love, love, love, love, love! I think they
look fantastic.
Anyway the main point I had was that I sighted an Alpine in a video clip
the other day. In a music video by a group called "Gegee tar" for a song
that goes along the lines of "you let me change lanes, while I was driving
in my car" they use a U.S. driver safety campaign film from the early
sixties. At the end of the song there's a red Series II (sorry but I
forgot to check the interior colour scheme) driving behind a truck for a
few moments . Then true to form it gets crashed into the back of said
truck. It's a nice colour shot of the car on the freeway where you can
make out the full length window channels, it's original footage and I
thought it was pretty cool. Luckily the footage of the car hitting the
back of the truck uses a scale model not the real car.
