Sounds like you've got a transmition from one of the "angled engine"
Chryslor products like an 68+ Alpine GT or Rapier "Arrow range".
I didnt know they would fit at all "Too long", but I think if you use
the correct Alpine bell housing, the trans should be in a more normal
mounted position.
