Does anyone know exactly where the various tools a supposed to be stowed
in the boot (notice I used the propah term) of a Series II car. I have
look around for pictures or diagrams and have come up empty. I have a
knock off hammer upright along the left side of the car, the crank and lug
wrench length wise along the back, and a tool roll somewhere in between.
I still have a few unused clips and am not sure as to what all I am
missing. If someone knows the correct location of the tools for the
various series cars, maybe we can get them posted in picture or diagram
form on the web site.
I have to boast, but I finally have my hard top put together and installed
on the car. Looks really nice. Just in time for me to take it back off
for the summer. I purchased the moldings and window from Rick at Sunbeam
Specialties. Rick should put a warning on the molding for the back window
that any sane person should have someone else install the window and
molding. It was a bloody pain. (My british friends tell me that "bloody"
is a really bad word in England. Far worse than !*#$, so its use here is
appropriate.)
