Head Gasket

     Anthony,
I had this exact problem in my Venezia with water being pushed out
the radiator top. The amount of water was proportional to the
operating temperature (I tried a new thermostat which was hotter than
the previously incorrect one and the problem became ten times worse).
Puzzled me for a while because no oil was getting in the water or
water in the oil. The problem was a broken head bolt (the hexagonal
head of the bolt had broken off the shaft) and under use the
combustion gases pressurized the radiator and pushed water through the
cap. Cured problem by changing head gasket, removing broken bolt and
all was well. Only thing I couldn't find was the bolt head - it will
still be in the sump but so far so good until the sump comes off next
     time
        Cheers, Roger Foote.
