Regards the recent suggestions of switching Aluminium heads for Iron
heads I'm not sure what advantages the Iron head engines have.In fact my
understanding is that the alloy head gives a higher compression ratio
and better performance. I guess corrosion has always been a problem with
the alloy head but provided you run inhibitor in the water they're
normally ok. Are the Iron heads easier to modify?
