Guys,
Wait a second.... the only part that I know of that was Chrysler made on the
Series V Alpine was indeed the penstar... Technically you could say that all
the parts on the Alpine V were Chrysler parts, since they now owned Rootes,
but all these parts were developed by Rootes before the takeover.
By the way, the pentstar was on the lower front right fender on all North
American Alpine V's. It is located about 3-4 inches from the bottom of the
fender and all North American imports had them. This was the only refference
to Chrysler outside of the warrantee book and window sales sheet, I know, I
have all my original documents.
