Mr. Downing,

Here we have the perfect opportunity to find out what size tires would be
identical replacements for original equipment tires. Is it possible to
take one of your tires down to a good tire shop and have the rolling
circumf. of the tire measured and looked up on a chart to determine the
equivalent radial size for our Alpine. We could then put to rest finally
the question "What is the replacement tire size that I can use without
changing my Speedo?" for our Alpines.
Of course SII had slightly smaller sized tires than SV, but it would be a
start.
How did you get 35+ years out of a set of tires???
