I know, I know....

I had a marvelous idea to take my Alpine to the squarge they were shooting
"Good morning America", and I was 60 - 90 per cent sure they hit me to the
sceene and I could say: "I am very happy to meet my fellow Alpine and Tiger
owners even this time, and I am really happy I have had so much help from
you.... ..etc, but THOSE DAMND RING GEAR BOLTS - MY CAR SITS STILL
WITHOUT REAR AXLE!

I am a journalist, so I know persons making this kind of television
connections, but, but...
 - tempered (?) 3/8" UNF bolts with 11/16 length are so uncommon that
british Sunbeam specialists could not find them.

I have bolts of suitable length and normal hex head, but they are only 8.8;
Jarrid, I think you know if I can use these and torque them to 50 lb ft?
Those bolts also have thread up to the hexagonal head - should there be a
smooth area to take axial impacts, or should the tension (? sorry, I have
no dictionary here) of the bolts eliminate all movements of the ring
gear/crown wheel?

Sorry, I am hard to follow, my clock is now 50 minutes past midnight, and I
am half asleep.

Larry,
Not able to carry his wife at the moment

PS: If anyone in Greece read this, please contact! My wife & friends speak
greece...

Larry
fast asleep
