Why is the price higher? Simple, all of the other cars you
mentioned ar ebased on MASS produced models numbering into the millions
in some cases, ok well at least the hundreds of thousands. Rootes only
built 70,000 Alpines (later series) total over some 8 or so years.
Basically, these are all limited production cars, and parts are scarce!
That's ONE reasons the Tiger's are more expensive since they only built
a little over 7,000..It's simply supply and demand, and some gouging on
the side.
