I would like some feedback on the thought I have on the following :

I have a tiger , two alpines.
I am going to sell one of the alpines for some cash.

The alpine I keep is already done as far as the body is concerned, my
question is this :

my tiger will be a long time before it ever sees the road. The engine and
trans have been built for approx 4-years...... and never test fired yet !

I was thinking of doing a conversion with the alpine I keep. > using the
already built v8, the rebuilt cross frame from the tiger, and the tiger
rear. I will badge this as it is !!!! ( an alpine ) I was thinking of using
a chevy column and maybe a power rack from a mustang .... ANY THOUGHTS ??

I also think that I would get rid of this god damn LUK ASS wiring !! >
use a
(Ron francis wiring kit) or a (Painless wiring kit) both these kits are very
well known with the RODDERS. Has anybody ever used one on an alpine ???????

I can handle the firewall and sheetmetal work. I also was thinking of
using a clutch, break, and gas peddle assembly from one of the Rod books (
with the break and clutch masters mounted just above or behind the
peddles.... ANY THOUGHTS ???

THE REASON FOR THIS IS > I DON'T SHOW ... I GO ! ASLO AM ON A SMALL
BUDGET... TRYING TO DO WITH WHAT IS ALREADY DONE...

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH THE THOUGHTS THAT RUN IN THIS
CRAZY HEAD OF MINE.

I believe that it would be cheaper to do this because I have all the
stuff... also building an alpine motor >>> the cost ?? what gives ? you may
as well own a real tiger because everything seems to be so over priced !!!!

example : I need two door strikers for the alpine... > $45 and up per
unit... this is not a good thing.. the motor parts $$.

I have owned MGB's, Austin Mini, sprites, BMW 2002, Spitballs, fiat
spiders,MGB GT^ special, and more... but things seem to be a little much for
the alpine turned Tiger thing!! Ya I know what your thinking... don't buy
or play if you can't pay.... well for a car that was cheaper than the rest
and not any better, than why should you price parts so much higher ??

well hope all is well in the land of beamers , take it easy.
